How can it be?

One year ago you were in my belly and now you spill over my whole lap. You used to only want to fall asleep in your crib and now I get to rock you each night. We spend bedtimes with me singing you songs and you humming along. I'm so thankful that simply laying on mommy soothes you.  How can it be that you're getting so big so fast?

We had a great day celebrating our Lexi Lou! Your brothers spoiled you all day long singing happy birthday over and over. You danced at story time and splashed at the splash pad. You are birthday cake icecream and loved hearing everyone call to sing to you.

The days are long sometimes but this year sure has flown by! Soaking in the last few minutes by rocking you to sleep sweet girl. It's rare that you let me so I'm loving it :)

You went to the zoo for the 4th time in a month and were like a dream. You just sat in your stroller and smiled at everyone for the longest time and then took a cat nap. Sweetie pie I'm so thankful for you!!
